Finding Courage in Headstand w/ Sean
Saturday May 7, 14, 21, and 28 from 10 – 11:15am
Join Sean each week for his weekly Saturday 10am Flow class for unique sequence specifically created to build strength, courage, and confidence in headstand preparation and full headstand with wall support. These all levels Flow classes will give students the tools to safely build a headstand practice, or offer alternative poses similar to the “king of asanas”.
Hatha Yoga: Chair and Wall Class w/ Akshey
Saturday, May 28 from 2 - 3:30pm
Join Akshey for a 1.5 hour hatha yoga class and learn how to support and deepen your yoga practice using the wall and a chair. Students can expect to learn pose variations and adaptations against the wall or using a chair that will educate the body on how to execute the poses with a strong foundation. With skillful propping students will find deeper understanding of the postures, intelligence of the body, and calmness of the mind. Class size will be limited to pre-register to save your spot.
Livestream students will need a clear wall space, and suitable chair for the class.
Mindful Meditations w/ Leena
Sunday May 29 from 12:30 – 2pm
Join Leena for a 1.5 hour exploration of the breath, stillness, and deeper aspects of our consciousness. Learn how both mindfulness and breath awareness can heighten our ability to focus and turn within and experience deeply meditative states. Harnessing this mind body connection can make for potent contemplative practices which Leena will elaborate on. No experience required and registrations required through our weekly schedule.
Trigger Point Release and Yin Yoga w/ Cindy
Friday May 27 from 6:30 - 9:30pm
Massage balls, and other self-massage tools will be used to help release stiff muscles and bound up knots to relieve tension in the body before exploring yin yoga postures to open, stimulate and gently bring comfort and function back to the body leading to a wonderful relaxation state.
Pre-registration is required through our weekly schedule. Space is limited.
Community Social and May Challenge Send Off Party
