FAQs
1) Which Class is Right for Me?
Live Yoga is a multi-style studio with very relaxing and slow classes (Restorative, Gentle, and Yin), well-rounded classes for everyone (Hatha), or more challenging classes (Flow, Core Connection). Click here for detailed Drop-in Class Descriptions. Please do not hesitate to call, email, or stop in, and one of our certified knowledgeable staff will be more than happy to assist you in choosing the right class. We suggest starting with Beginners Yoga to learn all the basic poses and techniques. Can't attend a Beginners Course? No problem! We welcome beginners to our drop-in classes all the time! See you in the studio!
2) I’m not flexible! Can I still do yoga?
You do not need to be flexible, thin, young or even healthy to do yoga – just show up and enjoy! We believe that yoga is for everybody. It's simply a matter of finding the styles, teachers, and times that fit your unique lifestyle. We offer classes suitable for all levels of yoga - beginners to advanced.
3) Can I practice yoga with a (minor) injury?
We recommend doctors or physiotherapists clearance for yoga and movement before attending classes. Some classes like flow or core connection are too vigorous and demanding for students with injuries. We always suggest starting out with Hatha, Gentle or Hips and Back for a slower yoga experience when coming back from an injury.
4) Am I too old for yoga?
We have students in our classes from 16 – 85yrs old and believe yoga can be a healing experience for all ages. If you can tie your shoes it is likely we have a class for you! Send us an email to find the perfect yoga class!
5) How much do your classes cost?
We have many different pricing options to suit every student’s needs. New students can take advantage of our 2-week unlimited pass for $40+ tax. For those needing more flexibility we offer a variety of punch cards. If looking to commit to your health and well-being we have flex passes and memberships for those planning to attend frequently. Check out our pricing page to learn more.
