We are so excited after nearly three years to get together for our annual open house. Islands Café:
One of the best spots for your coffee fix in the amazing café scene here in White Rock is Islands Café. Not only do they have on site fresh roasted Hawaiian coffee (yes you can grab a bag or two to go) they also have an amazing selection of drinks smoothies, poke bowls, and their unreal acai bowls. On top of that they also boast a super cozy and chilled out happy hour in the evenings most nights if you fancy an adult beverage.
Islands café is based on the experiences and recipes owners Rob and Jalene both fell in love with while living on the North Shore area of Oahu. Some of the menu is Hawaiian influenced and the rest comes from "surf culture". Surfer love organic, healthy food, but it must taste awesome! Their newest addition of a coffee Roaster they began to refine our coffee palette, and we encourage you to come try our coffee. Whether you have been to Hawaii or not, Islands Café will be an experience that will keep you coming back. Our goal is to provide all our customers with a higher quality of food, drink, and atmosphere. Be sure to try their coffee at the open house or drop by the café to say high and enjoy a drink and a treat!
Grounds and Greens Café:
Not only are owners Ben and Mannel the kindest and friendliest folk you might ever meet they are absolutely unreal chefs and their menu reflects that with 100% plant-based ingredients and food that is out of this world delicious.
Providing elevated plant-based food and beverages of superior quality, grounds & greens cafe aims to build a community of people and families who value kindness and are committed to improving themselves, their community and the environment. At Grounds & Greens Café, you will find plant-based dishes that were created with quality and creativity in mind.
