Healthy Back Yoga is a therapeutic, slow paced class designed to support relief from acute and chronic back pain. Through gentle, accessible yoga postures, students learn how to reduce tension, improve posture, and build strength in the muscles that support the spine. This class emphasizes comfort, awareness, and safe movement rather than intense stretching, making it suitable for all ages and experience levels. Students will develop practical tools and simple sequences to support ongoing back health, pain management, and healing. Doctor or physiotherapist approval recommended if overcoming surgery or injury.

Yin

This gentle, meditative Yin Yoga class deeply opens tight areas in the body and improves flexibility. Unlike more dynamic forms of yoga, poses are held for long, deep stretches, sometimes up to several minutes, to release tension in the fascia, ligaments, and joints. By relaxing the muscles and staying still in each pose, you will access deeper layers of connective tissue, enhance joint mobility, and cultivate a sense of calm and mindfulness.

Yin Yoga encourages you to find your “edge,” exploring stretches safely without pushing into pain, making it a restorative practice for both body and mind. This slow, mindful approach also supports stress relief, mental relaxation, and greater body awareness while creating space for a meditative state. Great for beginners or anyone looking to deepen their practice.

Slow Flow
