Join Cindy Thornton-Veltri for a 2-hour trigger point release and Yin Yoga workshop. Massage balls, and other self-massage tools will be used to help release stiff muscles and bound up knots to relieve tension in the body before exploring yin yoga postures to open, stimulate and gently stress the connective tissues of the body including muscles, fascia, ligaments, and our bones. Students can expect an informative and guided self-massage segment followed by gentle meditative yin yoga postures held in a sustained position to stretch, lengthen, and really unwind the massaged sections of the body. Yoga and massage is a great pair to bring comfort and function back to the body, and often leads to a wonderful relaxation state.
