Join Pre-Post Natal Fitness Specialist and Yoga Instructor Tobey Booker for an interactive and educational afternoon of Prenatal Yoga to offer tools and guidance on how yoga, breathing, meditation, and relaxation can help during pregnancy and the birth of your baby.
Bring your partner or someone who supports you for this special workshop where we will explore different tools & topics to use as you navigate your pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
This is not a birth education class, but a supplementary workshop to support your knowledge of pregnancy & parenthood in a fun yoga infused environment.
Expect to learn:
· How breathing techniques and vocal toning can support comfort and connection to your body and baby.
· Informative discussion on the Pelvic Floor and how to support a healthy one during pregnancy, birth and post birth.
· Guided relaxation and meditations to calm the nervous system and release tension. Ideas to help with sleep and pain management.
· Exploring movement and postures to find happy positions for pregnant bodies and even explore some labour positions.
· Supported yoga postures to relieve stiff hips and sore backs (partners will appreciate these too).
· Offering a helping hand - Tips and insight on how partners can assist and support Mom's during pregnancy and birth.
· Meet other soon to be moms, dads, couples, support persons all due around the same time. We all need community and connection
