The Amazing S.I. Joint
Do you experience pain or discomfort in your hips, pelvis, or low back? Want to learn how to practice yoga to find comfort? This workshop is for you.
Most people experience pain in the low back, hips, glutes, and pelvis at some point in their lives and look to stretching, massage and other exercises to find relief. Many of these activities if done too aggressively can be aggravating. However, movement, strength and gentle stretching done mindfully can be effective ways to relieve pain. If you have experienced S.I. joint, hip, or low back discomfort, this workshop will provide a class to help all students and teachers alike learn to progressively load, move, stretch, and support their bodies comfortably and confidently.
Join Sean for a two-hour exploration of the anatomy and function of the pelvis, low back, hips, sacrum, and the sacroiliac joint. This informative blend of lecture and workshop will be a slow-paced class focusing on supported yoga postures to help students experience healing and therapy through yoga and breathing. There will time for students to ask individual questions. sequence of exercises to practice daily.
