“Om” is often used at the start and/or end of classes which is a way to centre the class and bring everyone together as a community.
As a Mantra repeating the word "om" is a great way to slow down the breathing, calms the nervous system and gives the glands and organs of the body a vibrational massage. AAaauuuuummmmm.... You are welcome to join in or not.

Classes end with “Namaste” commonly said while your palms are pressed together and with a small bow of your head. It is a form of salutation showing respect between you and your teacher and fellow students – “The light within me honors the light within you”, you are invited to participate and you are welcome not to, all we ask for is a smile!

And most important if you have any questions or suggestions please either tell your teacher or phone us 604-961-9545 or email us from the Contact page of this web site. We love to hear from you.
