(Please note that there will be no class on Thanksgiving Monday.)

This progressive series is designed specifically for beginners. You will learn basic postures and breathing techniques that will help you to relieve stress, improve flexibility and strength and increase your sense of well-being. You do not need to be flexible or to have any previous experience with yoga in order to take this class. We will start out gently and work at a comfortable pace, gradually building your repertoire of postures. By the end of the course you will be well prepared to step into a yoga class of your choice with confidence.

Katie is a compassionate teacher who encourages students to move at their own pace and to have fun with their practices. Her clear, detailed instructions will guide you safely into the postures so that you can experience the joy and the benefits of yoga.

55+ Yoga

7 Week Series

This 7 week series is designed specifically for students 55 or better. Connect with your breath as you move through gentle postures and into deep relaxation. Yoga is great for releasing tight muscles (particularly in the hips), improving range of motion and maintaining the health of your bones and joints. Stay healthy in body, mind and spirit with yoga.

Cindy has been teaching yoga and fitness for over 25 years. She is an inspirational and compassionate teacher who encourages students to listen to their own inner voices and to allow that wisdom to guide them through their practices.

6 Week Series

Classes are designed for the pregnant Mama and for birthing preparation.  We will practice conditioning poses, breathing exercises and relaxation. Modificatications will be readily made to accomodate the changes taking place.  This is a great time for mothers to connect and also to learn from one another.

Lauren is an experienced and highly trained yoga teacher.  She is also the mother of a one year old and is passionate about motherhood and prenatal yoga. Lauren's genuine warmth and uplifiting energy make her classes truly special.
